Annual inflation rate in July 2016 was 2.7 percent, the same rate in June 2016. Group indices were generally stable between the months of June and July recording changes of less than 1.0 percent. Annual inflation rate have been below the lower limit of Bank of Botswana inflation range of 3-6 percent for the fifth time in 2016, attributable to lower rates of price increase across most commodity groups.
